Resources for Your Healing Journey

At Peace-It-Together, our mission is to provide you with invaluable resources that enhance your mental health journey. This page will offer a central place for you to find practical, community‑based support that complements the services at Peace‑It‑Together. It introduces a curated collection of local and statewide programs that address everyday needs—such as housing and food assistance, mental‑health and family‑support services, crisis and warm‑line options, youth programs, legal aid, and organizations that help people stay connected in our community. The goal is to make it easier for clients to access real‑world tools that strengthen safety, stability, and well-being, while reinforcing the message that healing is supported both within the Peace‑It‑Together space and through the broader network of community care.

How To Thrive When You're Designed to Survive

This book is for people who became strong because they had to—who learned how to cope, stay alert, and keep going, but were never taught how to feel safe once the danger passed.
Written from a trauma-informed, nervous-system perspective, it explores why anxiety, hypervigilance, emotional burnout, and self-doubt aren’t personal failures—but learned survival responses.
If you’ve ever wondered why “everything is fine” yet your body doesn’t believe it, this book is for you.
